Fleetwood Plays Solid Baseball to Beat Pottsgrove Maroon

Updated Tuesday June 3, 2014 by David Solivan.

Our Tri County Fleetwood Red boys came to play on Monday night when they socred 14 runs off of 18 hits to beat Pottsgrove Maroon 14-4. Starting Pitcher Jacob Rogers showed excellent control through 5 innings allowing only 5 hits and two walks while striking out 5. Alex Andre came in from the bullpen to seal the victory with a dominant performance.

Our offense also showed up to say hello. Tom "Ice Man" Hegedus and Connor "Wheels" Hermany had two doubles each, and Tyler "Rock Star" Gilfert had 5 RBIs off of three hits. Everyone contributed to the win as our team had 19 hits in six innings.
On the fantasy side of the house, Fantasy Red took an early lead after the first game of the week, but there are three to go, and lots can happen!
